Virtuoso announces preferred supplier partnership with Uniworld
“This is an outstanding product offering and exactly what the discerning, luxury traveller is seeking for from a river cruise today,” Virtuoso Asia Pacific Managing Director, Michael Londregan said.
“Uniworld offers unique, beautifully delivered experiences and exceptionally well fitted ships in destinations across the world so we are pleased to have this valuable partnership in place.
“While the partnership will broaden the Virtuoso brand offering, ultimately it is the client who will be the major beneficiary of this new relationship.”
Uniworld President, Guy Young, said the partnership, which is the first cruise company to be added to the network in nearly five years, highlighted the growth of the river cruising industry and the great match between the two luxury brands.
“We are extremely honoured to be partnering with Virtuoso, whose travel counsellors have built a reputation of delivering outstanding personalised service for their clients. This matches up very well with our own approach to service,” Mr Young said.
“We are pleased to offer members an assortment of exclusive opportunities and Voyager Club on select sailings.”
Claudia Rossi Hudson, Managing Director of Mary Rossi Travel, said the partnership would help agents ensure the most accurate access to information on the product and its itineraries.
“Our clients give us consistent feedback about the onboard experience and the quality that Uniworld delivers in their river cruising product so it is great to be able to reward our clients with the Virtuoso recognition they will also now receive. It is a win-win for everybody,” Ms Rossi Hudson said.
“The feedback I have had is that the service is flawless, they have fantastic itineraries which are well paced and they seem to have access to the best guides available in their ports of call.”
