American Airlines reintroduces free snacks
American Airlines has announced on 3 February 2016 new in-flight services including re-introducing full meal service in economy on selected flights. The airline will once again offer free cookies or pretzels in economy on transcontinental flights between New York and San Francisco or Los Angeles from February, before expanding to other domestic routes later in the 2016. Additionally, American Airlines will resume a full meal service for coach passengers between Dallas and Hawaii in May 2016.
“We know that we have customers who select our airline based on price and we’re really excited to offer them a product that is superior to choosing an ultra-low cost carrier,” says Fernand Fernandez, Vice President of Global Marketing at American Airlines.
American Airlines is also enhancing their complimentary entertainment options on domestic flights with up to 40 free movies, 60 TV shows, and 300 music albums now available.
