Acclaimed Australian circus troupe Circa Contemporary Circus this week is “dazzling” guests aboard Hapag-Lloyd CruisesEuropa 2. The performances—which blend acrobatics, dance and avant-garde design—are taking place in the ship’s theatre, with one show specifically adapted to the venue.

The good news for people who are missing out: Following the sell-out cruises this year, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises will continue its collaboration with Circa in 2026, with two Pacific voyages featuring the troupe’s artistry.

Circa by Artistic Director Yaron said, “For us, a circus on a ship is a very special adventure.” Circa has performed in 45 countries for more than 2 million people around the globe since its founding in Brisbane in 2004.

The current sailing is operating from Hamburg, Germany, to Bilbao, Spain.
