The 2026 and 2027 collection of expedition cruises from Pearl Expeditions has been released, with the program offering intimate and sustainable access to some of the world’s most remote and culturally significant regions.
Voyages between five and 12 days in duration will be carried out by the purpose-built Paspaley Pearl, with itineraries spanning iconic destinations such as the Kimberley, Papua New Guinea, Raja Ampat, Eastern Indonesia, Borneo and several of Australia’s most important Indigenous regions. These include Rowley Shoals, Arnhem Land, the Torres Islands and the Great Barrier Reef.
“Our 2026-2027 expeditions have been carefully designed to showcase the very best of each region while travelling in a way that is respectful, sustainable, and deeply immersive,” said Pearl Expeditions Executive Chair Sarina Bratton AM. “We are venturing to never-before-visited destinations aboard the Paspaley Pearl, offering our guests something truly one-of-a-kind.”

She added that the combination of untouched destinations and Pearl Expeditions’ signature onboard service “makes for an unforgettable journey.”
Meanwhile, General Manager Mick Fogg said the company’s approach goes beyond simply visiting remote places. “What sets Pearl Expeditions apart is not just where we go, but how we go there,” he said. “We work closely with local communities to create experiences that are culturally sensitive, environmentally responsible and genuinely meaningful.”
Highlights of the new collection include an extended Kimberley season from April to October each year, with voyages exploring rugged coastlines, powerful river systems and an exclusive visit to the Paspaley pearling farm at Kuri Bay. In Papua New Guinea, guests will encounter ancient village cultures, take part in the renowned Tufi canoe experience and explore sea caves, waterfalls and blue holes accessible only by small expedition vessels.

East Indonesia and Raja Ampat itineraries showcase the world’s richest marine biodiversity, while Borneo voyages combine rainforest exploration, orangutan encounters and ancient cultural traditions. Additional sailings to Rowley Shoals, Arnhem Land, the Torres Islands and the Great Barrier Reef further strengthen the programme’s focus on conservation and cultural connection.
Bookings for 2026 and 2027 are now open, with staterooms priced from $8,995 per person for a five-night expedition. With just 15 staterooms per sailing, availability is limited.
