PONANT has welcomed back Julie Golding, in a “strategic step” for the company as it further strengthens its position in the luxury cruise market in the region.
Golding is rejoining the company in the newly created role of Key Account Manager for Australia & New Zealand. The new position will report directly into Director of Sales Julie Rogers and provide additional support for trade and retail consortia.
“We are thrilled to welcome Julie Golding back to our dynamic team,” Rogers said.
“Julie brings a wealth of expertise in luxury product development, further enriched by her recent experience mentoring small business owners towards financial success.”

Golding has a wealth of experience under her belt working with companies such as the Globus Family of Brands, APT Group, Rocky Mountaineer and SIlversea. In her previous role at PONANT, she handled the company’s top accounts, taking on Virtuoso as a national account.
As the appointment was announced, Golding said she was excited to join forces once again with Rogers and looks forward to bringing her passion and industry know-how to this new position.
Meanwhile, PONANT CEO Asia Pacific Deb Corbett, who identified the need for this role in the months following her own appointment in July, underscored the impact Golding’s appointment will have on the business.
“As PONANT continues its rapid growth in Asia Pacific, Julie’s appointment is a key step in intensifying our market presence,” she said. “Her deep industry expertise and strong partner relationships are crucial as we elevate the brand and continue to deliver exceptional luxury expedition experiences for guests.”
