“Regent is the pinnacle of luxury experiences, but not simply because we have the world’s most luxurious fleet with unrivaled space at sea. It’s the people who bring the Regent vision to life, delivering unforgettable moments to our guests that last a lifetime. Our success over the last 30 years has only been possible because of the tireless work and unwavering commitment to delivering unrivaled experiences by our crew and team members in our global offices each and every day.”

Sarah Fabergé, Founding Member of the Fabergé Heritage Council and great-granddaughter of Peter Carl Fabergé, performed her godmother duties at the elegant and exclusive gala event while wearing bespoke Fabergé jewelry, which will be auctioned for the Gemfields Foundation.

Fabergé said the whole team had worked tirelessly to “bring to life this one-of-a-kind partnership”.“Our two companies share an appreciation for studying the techniques of the past in order to bring luxury experiences to 21st century audiences.

“You have heard about this Heritage of Perfection over the course of this evening. Seven Seas Grandeur’s unrivalled spaces, generous hospitality, magnificent entertainment and world-class culinary experiences are just one-of-a-kind. Likewise, Fabergé today celebrates the spirit and ethos of my great grandfather in turning a family business into an international phenomenon,” Fabergé added.

Journey in Jewels features an egg within an egg that rotates, decorated with carved mother of pearl, opals, antique cut diamonds and antique war diamonds.Among the ultra-luxury ship’s highlights is a new enchanted forest-themed Compass Rose restaurant whose entry is cleverly hidden behind a waterfall-like feature, a stunning 40-foot tall tapestry that took six months to stitch and which hangs in the atrium, Seven Seas Grandeur’s stunning centre-piece chandelier which is inspired tennis bracelets, and perhaps the most impressive being the custom-made bronze and hand-cast glass Bonsai Cherry Tree sculpture outside Pacific Rim.

Both Prime 7 and Chartreuse have been completely reimagined from their prior versions aboard Seven Seas Explorer and Seven Seas Splendor. Prime 7 has been given a residential feel and is inspired by a New York 20th century steakhouse, featuring bold red and black details. Whereas Chartreuse in ways pays homage to Coco Chanel through the use of the fashion label’s distinctive camellia signature bloom, and the lighting is inspired by Coco Chanel’s twead pattern. The Seven Seas Grandeur iteration of the US$11,000 per night Regent Suite pays homage to former NCLH President and CEO, Frank Del Rio, with art at the forefront of the luxury apartment’s design, along with elevated dining experiences and a number of furniture pieces themselves which are considered art.
