Celebrity Cruises has released a new 52-night Grand Journey from Rome to Sydney in 2023 aboard Celebrity Edge. The voyage acts as the positioning cruise for the first Edge-class ship to Oceania waters which has already delivered record bookings for the cruise line.
The full sailing will include 11 countries and 25 ports, spanning 10,000 nautical miles. A number of shorter segments ranging from 12- to 40-nights are also available.
“This Grand Voyage is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reconnect with the world, experience new cultures, explore diverse and exotic landscapes, and experience something new and exciting every day,” said Tim Jones, VP and MD for Celebrity Cruises Australia, New Zealand and APAC.
Combining four back-to-back sailings, guests can experience up to 52-nights of luxury including overnight stays in some of the most alluring places in the region. Departing from Rome on 30 October 2023, guests will venture through the Suez Canal, Middle East, Sub-Continent, Southeast Asia and onto Australia, arriving in Sydney as the final destination on 21 December.
The 40-night itinerary is a combination of the first three voyages, from Rome to Sydney, excluding a 12-night roundtrip sailing to New Zealand.
