On 8 September 2015, Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort announced a partnership with Best Dives Maldives. The partnership will see Best Dives Maldives providing all water-based activities and tours for guests of the resort.

Outrigger management chose to partner with Best Dives Maldives due to their commitment to marine life education and conservation, which compliments Outrigger’s global coral health and conservation program, OZONE.

Best Dives Maldives will function as the resort’s full-time activities and tour provider, conducting an extensive range of snorkelling, scuba diving, water sports, island discoveries, fishing trips and cultural excursions to nearby islands.

On 6 September, full qualified marine biologist Caterina Fattori joined the team to participate in snorkel and scuba dive excursions, as well as giving talks and presentations to groups.

Bitsy Kelley, a member of the Outrigger owning family and vice president of corporate communications for Outrigger Enterprises Group says she is proud of the joint venture that “will ensure both holiday enjoyment and coral reef knowledge for Outrigger guests.”
