Oceania Cruises has unveiled some of the newly designed suite accommodations aboard its upcoming Oceania Sonata, the first ship in the new Sonata Class, debuting August 2027. Notably, Oceania Sonata will offer a greater variety and number of suites, with 33% of accommodations dedicated to suites.
The line has already shared some general facts about the new vessel, while leadership told LATTE about the new dining and culinary experiences guests can expect. Now, Oceania has offered a first look at some of its “reimagined” suites.
The four Owner’s Suites, each totaling more than 2,500 square feet, are set at the aft corners of Decks 10 and 11, offering 180-degree views from wraparound verandas. In a first for Oceania Cruises, each Owner’s Suite will have two bedrooms: a primary bedroom with a king-size bed and spa-inspired, marble-clad bathroom and a guest bedroom with a queen-size bed, private bathroom and floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening onto a private veranda.
The eight Vista Suites, ranging from just over 1,500 square feet to more than 1,900 square feet, are also located at the aft of the ship. Outside, guests will have access to expansive verandas, while interiors boast plush furnishings and intricate marble accents in the living and dining areas. The indulgent primary bathroom will have double vanities, a “rainforest” shower and porcelain soaking tub.

The 16 Oceania Suites, ranging from 1,000 to 1,400-plus square feet, have living, dining and bedroom spaces that flow “seamlessly.” The suites also include a private teak veranda as well as a king-size bed and a marble bathroom.
New for Oceania Sonata are the 50 Horizon Suites, created with the aspirational luxury traveller in mind. Positioned between the Penthouse and Oceania Suite categories, these new accommodations offer over 600 square feet of space, complete with distinct living and bedroom areas, a walk-through wardrobe room and an oversized veranda with lounge furniture.
Completing the suite collection are the 63 Penthouse Suites and 82 new Penthouse Deluxe Suites, measuring 426 and 488 square feet, respectively. Guests can expect an oversized living area and a private veranda.
Good to know: All suites come with the services of dedicated butlers. Owner’s, Vista, Oceania and Horizon Suites also include in-suite illy coffee machines. Across all accommodations, guests can expect Oceania Cruises’ “next-generation” Tranquility Beds and Aquamar luxury bath amenities.
