18-month pause for Terminal 2 at Singapore Airlines’ gateway
Singapore’s Changi Airport will suspend operations at Terminal 2 (T2) from 1 May 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The closure will extend for at least 18 months. Airlines operating to and from T2 will be relocated to other terminals at the Singapore hub.

The airline will ground its entire fleet of six wide-body aircraft (5x Boeing 777s and 1x Airbus A330) and 14 narrow-body workhorse Boeing 737s.
