Club Med Mountain Resorts Poised for Record-Breaking Winter Season

Club Med has released details of three new developments including an international resort in South Africa and the first Exclusive Collection (5-Star) resort in South America.

Club Med has officially opened its newest European resort, Club Med Magna Marbella, marking the all-inclusive resort brand’s historic return to Spain.

Club Med has rolled out a new loyalty program for travel industry partners, offering incentives and new membership tiers dedicated for agencies, plus newfound advantages for individual consultants. The move follows this week’s unveiling of a new Travel Agent Portal.

Club Med has launched its revamped Club Med Travel Agent Portal featuring a new booking service to create a seamless experience when booking client’s all-inclusive holidays.

Club Med has confirmed an expansion in the United States, with an all-inclusive mountain concept flagged to debut in Snowbasin Resort in Huntsville Utah, in December 2024. This brand-new opening will mark the brand’s first-ever Exclusive Collection (5-Star) resort in the US as well as their first new resort in the US in more than 20 years.

Club Med has expanded its Exclusive Collection Resort portfolio with the opening of the Club Med Seychelles. At the heart of the Seychelles archipelago and a protected national marine park, the private island of Sainte Anne is home to this newly opened eco-chic resort.

The traditionally couples-only Lizard Island retreat on the Great Barrier Reef will welcome families with children aged 3 years and up during the June/July school holidays.

Walt Disney Co. has confirmed it plans to reopen both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park on the US West Coast at the end of April 2021.

Canada’s first Club Med resort, an all-seasons retreat in the mountains of Québec, has opened for bookings.

Merlin Entertainments has postponed the opening of the new LEGOLAND New York Resort until next year. The family attraction was preparing for a launch on 4 July 2020.

The Walt Disney Company has set an opening date of 18 July 2020 for its new land dedicated to the Marvel superheroes. Under development at Disney California Adventure Park, Avengers Campus is a “fully immersive land that mixes technology and fun for all ages,” Disney says.
