SHA Wellness Clinic, the internationally recognised pioneer of integrated medical and holistic wellness, has announced ambitious expansion plans to take its award-winning SHA concept worldwide, with the opening of two new properties on different continents within the next three years. Building on the success of the original clinic in Spain, SHA Mexico will open in 2021 as the first serious global wellness brand to open in Latin America. A second location will be announced imminently, with longer-term plans to open properties across all continents.

Chiva-Som International Health Resort has announced the launch of Zulal Wellness Resort, a new wellness destination in Qatar and the Middle East’s first full-immersion wellness resort. Slated to open in 2020, the property will also be the world’s first center for Traditional Arabic Integrative Medicine. Spanning 280,000 square metres, the resort will offer the highest international service standards rooted in traditional Qatari hospitality.

Chiva-Som International Health Resort in Hua Hin, Thailand, has reopened having completed the fourth and final stage of its extensive renovation program. The upgrade is the first major works carried out since Chiva-Som’s launch over 24 years ago.

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has partnered with wellbeing company Sensei to develop an all-inclusive hotel on the island of Lanai in Hawaii. Four Seasons Hotel Lanai at Koele, A Sensei Retreat, shares the same beachfront as Four Seasons Resort Lanai. Closed since January 2015, the Lodge at Koele has been transformed into a 96-room-and-suite adults-only luxury hotel, restaurant and spa.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has revealed plans to expand its new spa concept fleet-wide. Originally planned to debut solely on Seven Seas Splendor early next year, Serene Spa & Wellness™ will be rolled out on RSSC’s other vessels over December 2019 and January 2020, even trumping the launch on Splendor in February.
