Mount Lofty House in the Adelaide Hills has revised the official opening date of its six-star luxury addition, Sequoia, to November 2020.

SkyCity Hotels Group has revealed the centrepiece of the $330 million Adelaide Casino expansion, Eos by SkyCity. The new 120-room luxury hotel will open its doors in late 2020, offering guests bespoke experiences from in-room styling to on-call mixologists providing a custom cocktail service.

Owners of South Australia’s Sequoia lodge in the Adelaide Hills have rescheduled the planned opening of the $15 million property by nine months, from the previously earmarked December 2019 debut to September 2020.

A private and secluded sanctuary with uninterrupted panoramic views, the $15 million luxury lodge will offer guests a six-star experience and be the first of its kind on mainland Australia.

Fiji Airways will next week take delivery of its first new narrow-body aircraft, as the first oneworld Connect  airline further enhances the inflight experience for guests travelling to Fiji on the full service airline. 

In response to feedback from local businesses, government and the tourism industry, network changes will see flights between Alice Springs and Darwin upgraded from a Boeing 717 to a Boeing 737 aircraft, an increase of up to 1,300 seats per week on the route. The change means customers will have the option to travel in Business Class and introduce inflight entertainment, including fast, free Wi-Fi on selected flights.

Singapore Airlines has chosen Adelaide as the launch destination for its first Airbus A350-900 aircraft fitted with all new medium-haul cabin products. Launching on 18 December from Adelaide, subject to regulatory approval, flight SQ278/279 will be operated daily by the two-class, 303-seat A350-900, providing South Australian customers first access to an unparalleled level of comfort and technology and increasing capacity by nearly 7%.
