Hurtigruten has forged a new partnership with Australasian travel wholesaler Adventure World Travel.

Lindblad Expeditions Holdings, Inc and shipbuilder and designer Ulstein Group have celebrated the keel laying of Lindblad’s second polar new build at the Crist shipyard in Gdynia, Poland. The occasion also served as the official naming ceremony of the vessel.

Adventure World Travel has recently released its 2020/21 UnCruise Small Ship Expeditions brochure.

Adventure World Travel are offering travel advisors the chance to receive a special $100 Giftpay card when booking and depositing a group.

Adventure World Travel has introduced sustainably produced travel wallets, with funding directly benefiting a women’s cooperative in India. Partnering with India’s Purkal Stree Shakti Samiti organisation, Adventure World Travel has commissioned the production of 40,000 premium travel wallets, which will employ 20 staff.

Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic officially launched the newest addition to their fleet, National Geographic Venture, at a dockside christening ceremony in San Francisco Bay on Friday, 30 November, 2018. The occasion marked a major milestone for the line, as only the second new build in the company’s history. Following the ceremony, the ship embarked on a two-night VIP mini expedition that included travel agency partners, affinity/charter partners, media and other special guests.

Adventure World Travel has broadened its reach into Canada, Alaska and the High Arctic following the release of its 2019 program, which Managing Director Neil Rodgers says is centred on “going deeper into the destination”.

Adventure travel company Explore Worldwide has appointed Adventure World Travel as its new General Sales Agent (GSA) for Australia, taking over representation from Cox & Kings Australia which has held the account since 2012.
