Air Canada is adding new, non-stop, seasonal flights between Auckland and Vancouver, Canada. Air Canada’s flights to Vancouver will operate four times weekly onboard the carrier’s state-of-the-art flagship Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft beginning 14 December, 2019 until the end of March 2020, subject to obtaining the necessary government approvals.

Air Canada has shown clear signs of confidence in its third Australian route, revealing plans to ratchet up services on the Vancouver-Melbourne city pairing from mid-June 2019.

North American carriers Delta Air Lines and WestJet have sought approval from the US transport regulator for a joint venture to integrate their combined passenger services between the United States and Canada in a bid to better compete against rivals.

Initially operating on a thrice weekly basis, Air Canada’s third gateway into Australia will be upgauged to four times weekly in November.
