National Geographic Expeditions has launched the first phase of its 2024 travel portfolio, including the complete river cruise lineup. In collaboration with AmaWaterways, three National Geographic Expeditions-chartered departures will offer an in-depth exploration through Europe’s historic waterways.

AmaWaterways is accepting reservations for its 2024 Seven River Journey – Spring and Summer Editions. The longest journeys yet with AmaWaterways comprise a 49-night itinerary on board one ship, AmaMora, and the first-time experience of sailing the complete length of the Rhine and Danube rivers including the seldom visited Danube Delta region leading to the Black Sea.

AmaWaterways has revealed plans to add a second cruise ship in Egypt following a successful first season on the Nile for its new vessel AmaDahlia.

AmaWaterways will resume sailing on the Mekong River from 17 October 2022. Reservations are now open for sailings through Vietnam and Cambodia to explore the Mekong River aboard the 124-passenger AmaDara, a distinctive 92-metre ship featuring 62 elegantly appointed staterooms and suites.
