American Airlines threw a lavish Thanksgiving Celebration for Sydney-based travel trade partners at the Hyatt Regency on Wednesday 21 November 2018. Close to 100 of American Airlines’ VIP travel agents, media, oneworld and Qantas partners were treated to a long table lunch, in The Gallery on the lower level of the hotel.

Chicago likely next US hub for Qantas
Chicago has all but been confirmed as Qantas’ fifth hub in the United States as part of its broader Joint Business Agreement with American Airlines. Paperwork submitted with the US Department of Transportation details the extend of a new codeshare alliance between Qantas and American, should the parties be given a green light for their proposed revenue-sharing agreement.
