Capella Sydney, the first Australian property in the Capella Hotels and Resorts portfolio, is now accepting reservations for arrivals beginning 15 March 2023.

Liz Rodgers, Founder of LRforLuxuryResorts, a Sydney-based luxury hotel and resort representation business, has been named Regional Director of Sales, Australia and New Zealand of Capella Hotel Group.

Capella Hotels and Resorts is partnering with The Bentley Group on the landmark Brasserie 1930 restaurant set within Capella Sydney, preparing to launch in March 2023.

Sydney’s newest luxury hotel, Capella Sydney has released the first official internal images of what guests can expect for this highly-anticipated opening. This week, Capella confirmed the 192-room and suite property would open in March 2023, as flagged first by LATTE two months ago.

Capella Hotels and Resorts has confirmed it will open its debut Australian property, Capella Sydney, in March 2023. The introduction of Capella’s first project in Australia was revealed by LATTE three years ago, at which time the development was slated to open in 2021.

EXCLUSIVE: Developers of Capella Sydney have revised plans for the future luxury hotel, trimming room capacity by more than 20% and altering the “role and function in the overall hotel development”. Already approved for 290 rooms, the project – which is already underway – will scale back its room count to 229.

Capella Hotel Group has been revealed as the luxury hotel operator of the historic “Sandstones” buildings in Sydney’s CBD, slated to open in 2021.
