Coral Expeditions has shelved port calls at Darwin for the Immediate future from its Australian program in response to new legislation on expedition cruising in the Northern Territory that was revealed late last week.

Coral Expeditions has welcomed a second new ship to its fleet in two years, with the arrival of Coral Geographer to the Australian cruise line’s headquarters in Cairns on Friday 12 March 2021.

Australian expedition cruise line, Coral Expeditions, has confirmed a fifth ship is currently under construction at the VARD Shipyard and on track for delivery in December 2020. Coral Geographer will be a sister-ship to Coral Adventurer which launched recently. The new ship will initially sail the waters of the Indian Ocean, to destinations including the Maldives, Sri Lanka and Mauritius.
