A fleet expansion of Crystal Expedition Cruises’ new ultra-luxury polar class ships has been slated for luxury hotel groups, including Hilton’s benchmark brand, Waldorf Astoria Hotels and Resorts.

Crystal Expedition Cruises officially welcomed its new luxury expedition yacht Crystal Endeavor to the Crystal fleet last weekend, the company’s ninth vessel.

Crystal has cancelled numerous launch season departures for its expedition ship, Crystal Endeavor, as well as upcoming European river cruise voyages due to “ongoing challenges” related to COVID-19.

Bookings open on 18 May 2021 for Crystal River Cruises’ 2023 deployment featuring 190 voyages exploring the Danube, Rhine, and Moselle rivers along with the waterways of the Netherlands and Belgium.

Crystal Cruises has introduced 15 new Caribbean sailings departing roundtrip from St. Maarten aboard Crystal Symphony this August through December.

Crystal will deploy it ultra-luxury ocean ship, Crystal Symphony, to St. John’s, Antigua for a series of voyages between August and December 2021.

Crystal appears to be aiming to make amends with guests and travel advisors in relation to its refund processes.

Crystal has scheduled a revised inaugural deployment of Crystal Endeavor which will commence in Iceland on 17 July 2021. The factory-fresh luxury expedition yacht will operate a series of five 10-night voyages circumnavigating Iceland, operating roundtrip from Reykjavik. Reservations will open on 13 April 2021.

Crystal Mozart will return to the fleet of Crystal River Cruises, operating week-long sailings from Vienna on the Danube from late March 2022. The luxury ship will also be reconfigured to better cater for solo travellers.

The first sea trials for Crystal Expedition Cruises’ long-awaited expedition ship, Crystal Endeavor, have commenced in the Nordics.

Ultra-luxury cruise company Crystal will require all guests to be fully inoculated with a COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to their Crystal cruise.

Crystal Cruises is tempting the early booker market by releasing its 2023 Worldwide Atlas for its ocean ships, Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity.
