Crystal Cruises has added five additional Caribbean sailings to its recently introduced late 2020 ‘Simply the Best’ program.

Genting Cruise Lines has this week taken over full operation of the former Crystal Cruises Australia business following the closure of the nearly four-year-old Sydney office, announced in early April.

Crystal Cruises has introduced two new seven-night Caribbean itineraries for the end of the 2020 cruise season.

Crystal Cruises has opened 2023 itineraries on Crystal Serenity for bookings. In 2023, the ship will sail individual voyages of seven to 23 nights, as well as a full World Cruise offered with 140-, 128- and 119-night options, and combination sailings of up to 100 nights without repeating ports.

Crystal has released an enticing new Easy Book program that includes reduced deposits and waived administrative fees for all new bookings through 30 June 2020. The new program applies to all Crystal experiences – Crystal Cruises, Crystal River Cruises, Crystal Yacht Cruises and Crystal Expedition Cruises – in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

Crystal has confirmed a three-month delay for the delivery of its maiden expedition ship due to the temporary closure of the MV Werften shipyard. As foreshadowed by LATTE last month, the pause in operation at the German shipyard due to the coronavirus was expected to result in the delayed handover of the luxury ship.

Crystal has announced the closure of its Australian office in Sydney during the current “challenging time” facing the industry.

In 2020, Crystal will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a year-long celebration including commemorative gifts and special events aboard its ships as well as the gift of savings.

Crystal River Cruises has slashed the the cost of its initial deposit to AU$715 on more than 50 voyages in Europe departing between May and August 2020. The reduced deposit applies across Crystal River Cruises’ all-suite, butler-serviced sister ships – Crystal Bach, Crystal Debussy, Crystal Mahler and Crystal Ravel – which can be combined with Crystal’s Book Now Savings.

Crystal Cruises is offering reduced deposits of AU$150 for a dozen Crystal Serenity sailings and one Crystal Symphony sailing in 2020. The offer represents a massive saving on regular cruise deposits which are 25% of the cruise fare.

Crystal Cruises has introduced 10 brand-new voyages added to its collection of Crystal Getaways – shortened versions of longer itineraries – ranging from four to 10 nights. With 29 Getaways in total for the remainder of this year and next, guests can indulge in the award-winning Crystal Experience across the globe.
