Crystal Cruises has officially relaunched under the guardianship of the A&K Travel Group with a new website and under a reimagined name and vision: Crystal – Exceptional at Sea.

The reinstallation of Crystal Cruises under the ownership of A&K Travel Group continues to progress, and now with a local focus, with highly respected Australian cruise industry veteran, Tony Archbold, to head the local arm of the brand.

Crystal Cruises is offering guests a shipboard credit of up to US$250 per person (AU$350 per person) under a new ‘Open Deposits’ program.

Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony, the luxury sister-ships of the collapsed Crystal Cruises, will be put up for auction to the highest bidder in early June. The auction is the latest step in the liquidation of the former Genting Hong Kong brand.

Seabourn has stepped in to offer assistance to guests impacted by the temporary pause of Crystal’s global ocean, river and expedition operations. Crystal’s suspension currently impacts ocean and expedition voyages through until April 2022.

Luxury cruise operator, Crystal, is suspending voyages for its Ocean and Expedition ships through 29 April 2022, while its River cruise operations for 2022 will be suspended until the end of May. The action comes after Crystal’s parent company, Genting Hong Kong Ltd, filed to wind up the company, seeking to appoint provisional liquidators in a court in Bermuda this week.

Crystal Cruises marks its return to Alaska after three years with a series of 7- to 11-night voyages in summer 2022 aboard Crystal Serenity. Round-trip and one-way voyages will operate from Anchorage (Whittier), Alaska; and Vancouver, Canada.

Crystal is offering a new Zero Single Supplement promotion, which is available for the first time on its ocean vessels. The deal applies to 15 Crystal Symphony voyages to the Caribbean and Mediterranean in 2022. All-inclusive fares start from AU$3,213 per person, with savings up to $4,000 per person for an ocean view stateroom.

Crystal Expedition Cruises’ first sailing to Antarctica for its luxury expedition ship, Crystal Endeavor, is mid-journey to the White Continent having departed Ushuaia last Thursday [18 November 2021]. The expedition is the first in a series of eight round-trip 11- to 19-night sailings aboard the 200-guest vessel.

Crystal Expedition Cruises is now providing round-trip chartered air flights between Miami and Ushuaia, Argentina for guests booking on Crystal Endeavor’s inaugural sailings to Antarctica.

Crystal Cruises has opened reservations for its 2024 World Cruise, ‘Celebrated Cultures & Treasured Temples,’ aboard Crystal Serenity.

Crystal has extended its mandatory vaccination requirement for all guests (12 and over) and crew through 2022 for its ocean and expedition cruising. The extension applies to Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony, and the ultra-luxury cruise line’s newest vessel, Crystal Endeavor.
