Disney Cruise Line has revealed a new “penthouse in the sky” suite set within one of the two funnel’s of its new ship, Disney Wish.

Disney Cruise Line’s new ship, Disney Wish, is set to showcase the worlds and characters of Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars at sea. The family-oriented brand will also feature a suite of new adults-only facilities, including the first Star Wars branded lounge.

Disney Cruise Line marked a significant construction milestone at the Meyer Werft shipyard at Papenburg, Germany on 8 April 2021 with a traditional keel-laying ceremony of the Disney Wish, the first of three new ships in the line’s fleet expansion.

Disney Cruise Line has released details of its summer 2022 program which will include new destinations and ports in the Greek Isles, Mediterranean, northern Europe, Alaska and the Caribbean.

Disney Cruise Line has pushed back the originally planned launch date of its first of three new ships from late 2021 to early 2022. The vessels are being built at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany. The second ship is also expected to be delivered in 2022 and the third in 2023.
