A keel-laying ceremony for the newest yacht in the Emerald Cruises fleet, Emerald Sakara, has been held at the Ha Long Shipyard in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam.

Scenic Group’s foray into the premium superyacht market with the Emerald Cruises brand has taken off abroad, with capacity aboard Emerald Azzurra approaching three-quarters full in her debut season next year. 

Emerald Cruises has confirmed it is launching a second luxury superyacht. Work on the new Emerald Sakara, a sister ship to Emerald Azzurra, is already underway and earmarked for debut in early 2023. The 110-metre yacht will begin operation in a new destination for Emerald Cruises – the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean.

Emerald Cruises has released new renderings and unveiled the 2023 program for its ocean-going 5-star luxury super yacht, Emerald Azzurra. The brochure features the yacht’s debut voyages to the Black Sea on two new itineraries, plus a collection of Adriatic, Mediterranean and Red Sea cruises.

Emerald Waterways and Emerald Yacht Cruises have positioned under one single brand identity, now known as Emerald Cruises. The brand is part of the Scenic Group.

The new ocean-going super yacht Emerald Azzurra from Emerald Cruises was floated out for the first time last weekend at The Halong Shipbuilding Company in Vietnam, marking just over a year until guests will be able to set sail on the upmarket vessel.
