Crystal has finalised an order for its third vessel with shipbuilder Fincantieri, with the 690-passenger ship representing a major milestone in the cruise line’s latest chapter.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has begun construction on Seven Seas Prestige™, the seventh ship to join the ultra-luxury cruise line. Billed as “the ship that transcends luxury”, the vessel’s steel cutting ceremony took place at the Fincantieri-Marghera shipyard in Venice, Italy.

Explora Journeys and shipbuilder, Fincantieri, have announced a joint decision to set a new date for the delivery of EXPLORA II. Originally intended to enter service on 11 August 2024 from Barcelona, EXPLORA II will now debut on 16 September, sailing from Civitavecchia (Rome).
