A newly transformed resort destination will reopen as Botania Relais & Spa in Ischia, Italy in April 2020. The former Garden & Villas Resort is currently undergoing major renovation and enhancements to the guest experience during the seasonal closure of the popular holiday location for Australians from October to April.

Belmond Splendido Mare, in the centre of Portofino, Italy, will undergo a major renovation and reopen in June 2020, Belmond has announced. The 14-room guest house is located near the Belmond Hotel Splendido, which overlooks the bay.

Jumeirah Group is expanding its global presence in Europe through the addition of Capri Palace in Italy.
