PONANT has unveiled its new Japanese luxury expedition program for 2024 featuring sailings in the Nippon archipelago as well as three new itineraries never offered before. Commencing in March 2024, PONANT is expanding its programme with the addition of sailings in Kyushu’s islands between Kagoshima and Fukuoka, and in the Seto Inland Sea from Kagoshima to Kobe.

PONANT has added new voyages over the southern hemisphere’s summer season for 2023/24. Among the closer-to-home voyages are new itineraries that will explore the South Pacific Ocean, along with cruises through the Tropics and further afield, including the Northern Lights of Norway.

PONANT has released an exclusive offer for Australian and New Zealand guests looking to book a European escape in 2022, offering a half-priced deposit of 12.5%, valid on all new bookings made between 12 October and 30 November 2021.

For 2022/2023, PONANT has released an extensive range of tropical small ship luxury expeditions, including some brand new itineraries, all aimed at revealing a diverse range of cultures, wildlife and landscapes, with many unique locations designated UNESCO World Heritage status.

Ponant’s resumption of cruising this month and next is set to include inaugural voyages for the recently launched Le Bellot. The ultra-luxury small ship cruise line is proposing a series of all-new expedition cruises circumnavigating Iceland, operating round trip from Reykjavik.

French luxury cruise line Ponant has frozen operation of its entire fleet, effective 15 March 2020, and introduced flexible rebooking options in response to the current COVID-19 public health crisis. A return-to-service date remains “undetermined”, the company said in a social media post.

French luxury cruise company Ponant will add two new expedition cruise vessels for its recently acquired South Pacific division, Paul Gaugin Cruises, after inking a deal with shipbuilder Fincantieri.

PONANT is now accepting reservations for 2020/21 voyages to Africa, Asia, the Indian Ocean and Polynesia, expanding the program with a list of new itineraries.
