For 2022/2023, PONANT has released an extensive range of tropical small ship luxury expeditions, including some brand new itineraries, all aimed at revealing a diverse range of cultures, wildlife and landscapes, with many unique locations designated UNESCO World Heritage status.

Repressed demand for domestic luxury expedition cruising has seen Ponant bolster its newly released Kimberley program for 2022.

For Australians eager to explore their own backyard, Ponant has revealed the return of two of its fleet of small luxury expedition ships, Le Lapérouse and Le Soléal, to Australian waters in 2021, with a collection of eight new immersive itineraries along the coastline of Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania, New South Wales and Queensland.

Luxury cruise line Ponant has terminated its imminent New Zealand cruise program following Immigration New Zealand’s decision to deny entry to the bulk of it’s Le Lapérouse crew late last week.

New Zealand’s leading cruise authority, the New Zealand Cruise Association, has expressed dismay at the country’s decision to refuse entry of Ponant’s 5-star luxury yacht, Le Laperouse, at the 11th hour.

Latitude 33 has released its 22-night Raffles, Tea Plantations and Golden Triangle tour, taking 20 guests through some of the world’s most exotic destinations, including Singapore, Sri Lanka and India. Commencing on 3 January 2021, the itinerary incorporates a stay at Singapore’s iconic Raffles Hotel followed by four nights exploring Sri Lanka’s Galle and Colombo, an eight-night cruise on board Ponant’s Le Laperouse from Colombo to Mumbai, and finishes with a tour of India’s Golden Triangle, staying exclusively at Oberoi Hotels.

Ponant has rolled out two new cruise collections and an expanded range of itineraries for 2020/2021.

Ponant will add additional capacity to the Kimberley region in 2021, announcing the deployment of a second vessel for the region to meet “growing demand” for the company’s expeditions.

PONANT is now accepting reservations for 2020/21 voyages to Africa, Asia, the Indian Ocean and Polynesia, expanding the program with a list of new itineraries.

Ponant and Relais & Châteaux have united to introduce three all-new cruise experiences for 2020 through Brittany, Asia and Portugal and Spain.
