Link Travel Group has kicked off the fresh financial year by signing Complex Travel Group into its stable of luxury travel agencies.

Link Travel Group hosted its first event since launching in May as a joint venture between Flight Centre Travel Group (FLT), The Goldman Group and Spencer Group of Companies.

Link Travel Group – the joint venture between Flight Centre Travel Group, Goldman Group and Spencer Group of Companies – is addressing the travel industries stress point of quality staff recruitment and retention, launching a new recruitment initiative. In partnership with the Flight Centre Travel Academy, Link Travel Group member agency’s recruits and candidates will be able to study part-time and work-part time under a two-year internship.

Link Travel Group continues to ramp up its presence in the Australian high-end travel landscape, signing two new agencies inside four months since launching.

Link Travel Group – the network founded by Flight Centre Travel Group, The Goldman Group and Spencer Group of Companies in May – has welcomed six of Australia’s best-known agencies to its invitation-only membership group.

Flight Centre Travel Group executive Danielle Galloway continues her rise through the ranks within the industry magnate, tapped for the newly-created role of Global Managing Director – Independent and Premium Travel Brands at FCTG.

Spencer Travel toasted its trade partners at a gathering on Tuesday evening at a Thank You event held at Pullman Sydney Airport.

Flight Centre Travel Group, Goldman Travel Corporation and the Spencer Group of Companies will target independent travel businesses centred on premium and business travel to align with them under a new joint venture (JV) named Link Travel Group.
