The 17th edition of Los Cabos VIP Summit held recently at Hacienda del Mar Los Cabos Resort, culminated with more than 1,600 business meetings taking place. The three-day show, from 13-16 November saw national and international representatives of airlines, travel agencies, tour operators and hotel companies, come together.

Mexico’s resort destination on the southern tip of Baha California, Los Cabos, is on the cusp of achieving record-breaking visitor numbers as more luxury hoteliers open and average room rates surge nearly 60% compared to two years ago.

Last week, five Virtuoso travel advisors arrived in Los Cabos to experience the Mexican paradise, where the desert meets the sea. The group took part in a famil following Virtuoso Travel Week in Las Vegas, where Los Cabos Tourism was recognised on the global stage, bestowed with the honour of 2022 Best Tourism Board Award.

And that’s more than 12 months after the tourism gateway threw out the welcome mat to overseas visitors with a phased reopening beginning in June last year.In response to COVID-19, Los Cabos was designated as the world’s first Sharecare health security VERIFIED destination earlier this year. So how is business, and what does that actually mean?
