Mandarin Oriental will take over management of the fabled Hotel Palace Luzern. First opened in 1906 and positioned in the heart of the city on the shores of Lake Lucerne, the property is currently undergoing an extensive renovation. It will reopen as Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern at the end of 2020.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group will manage a second luxury hotel in Istanbul, Turkey. The project, which also features branded residences, is scheduled to open in 2022.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group will manage a new luxury resort on Phuket Island in Thailand, slated to open in 2022. Mandarin Oriental, Phuket will be located on one of the rare undeveloped beachfront sites still to be found on ‘Millionaire’s Mile’ on the west coast of Phuket island. It will occupy 9.5 hectares of land in the secluded and picturesque Laem Singh Bay.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced that it will manage a new resort and branded residences in Muscat, the capital of Oman.
