MSC Cruises has opened sales for MSC Virtuosa, which will spend her inaugural season in the Western Mediterranean from 8 November 2020. Sales are initially open exclusively for MSC Voyagers Club members, as one of the many benefits of the program that rewards loyal MSC Cruises guests. For all other guests, sales will open on 3 December.

MSC Cruises and Fincantieri have signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) for the construction of four ultra-luxury cruise ships for a total value in excess of EUR 2 billion. The ships, the first of which will be delivered in Spring 2023, will have gross tonnage of approximately 64,000 GT and will feature 500 cabins. The remaining three ships will come into service one per year over the following three years.

With an 11.6 billion euro investment plan, MSC Cruises will account for 25% of the entire industry projected growth from 2017 to 2026.
