Representatives from Ponant and National Geographic met with select travel advisors at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium this week to celebrate their recent partnership and to share details of a new special for guests and a trade incentive for sellers. 

Lindblad Expeditions has signed an agreement with Norwegian shipbuilder and ship designer Ulstein to build a new polar vessel, expanding the line’s National Geographic polar fleet to four ships.

Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic officially launched the newest addition to their fleet, National Geographic Venture, at a dockside christening ceremony in San Francisco Bay on Friday, 30 November, 2018. The occasion marked a major milestone for the line, as only the second new build in the company’s history. Following the ceremony, the ship embarked on a two-night VIP mini expedition that included travel agency partners, affinity/charter partners, media and other special guests.

Ponant and National Geographic have joined forces, combining their specific areas of expertise to offer a range of unique and enriching expedition cruises. A collection of 18 expeditions stretches from Alaska to Antarctica, a taste of what is to come from this recently announced partnership which will number 130 expeditions by 2021.

National Geographic and Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours have teamed up to launch a new line of National Geographic River Cruises. These itineraries combine Scenic’s all-inclusive luxury river cruise experience with National Geographic’s legacy of science, conservation and exploration to create unforgettable experiences along the waterways of Europe and South East Asia.

Lindblad Expeditions has launched its 2019 Galápagos brochure detailing six in-depth, diverse itineraries through the South American island chain as well as explorations to Peru, tropical Andes and the Amazon.
