Named in honour of the late Daniel Moynihan, the Senator who first proposed building on the site of the century-old James A. Farley Post Office Building, the gigantic US$1.6 billion glass and steel space is an artwork by architects Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, SOM.

Half billion dollar Big Apple project
Marriott International has announced that it has signed an agreement with luxury hospitality development firm Flag Luxury Group to bring The Ritz-Carlton brand to New York City’s vibrant NoMad neighbourhood, also known as North of Madison Square Park. Flag Luxury Group will develop the hotel and residences tower, which will represent a more than $500 million investment.
