The oneworld airline alliance’s 13 members have committed to achieve net zero emissions in 30 years.

The oneworld global airline alliance will welcome Alaska Airlines as its 14th member airline and sister carriers Horizon Air and SkyWest Airlines as oneworld affiliate members around the end of 2020.

British Airways and Qatar Airways have been provided interim authorisation by the ACCC to coordinate air services on nine offline routes between Australia and the United Kingdom.

The three major global airline alliances – oneworld, SkyTeam and Star Alliance – have sought government and stakeholder intervention on the collapsing airline industry due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

To continue providing broad and seamless connectivity for customers, LATAM will maintain bilateral agreements, network access and customer benefits with the majority of oneworld members.

Oneworld member airlines British Airways (BA) and Qatar Airways (QR) have sought approval from the Australian competition regulator to coordinate air services on nine offline routes between Australia and the United Kingdom.

British Airways is adding six new European routes from London Heathrow in 2020.
