Sarina Bratton AM’s “passion project” of the past few years, the luxury motor yacht PASPALEY PEARL, will now launch independently in July 2025. The refitted vessel will commence service in Western Australia’s Kimberley region.

After nearly a decade as Chairman Asia Pacific and recently serving as Strategic Advisor to Ponant’s Global CEO, Sarina Bratton AM recently concluded her official capacity with the luxury French expedition cruise line, PONANT.

PONANT has confirmed its project with Paspaley Group to operate the luxury motor yacht PASPALEY PEARL, is no longer proceeding, LATTE can reveal.

PASPALEY PEARL has successfully completed her sea trials off Fremantle in Western Australia, marking a significant milestone ahead of the boutique expedition yacht’s upcoming multi-million-dollar refurbishment.

PASPALEY PEARL by PONANT has released its inaugural digital brochure, detailing the transformative experiences curated for the 30-guest expedition yacht. Commencing operations in January 2025 the new boutique yacht will feature a new immersive level of expeditions when operating through East Indonesia, The Kimberley and Papua New Guinea.

PASPALEY PEARL by PONANT, the collaboration between PONANT and Paspaley revealed last October, have today officialy launched a dedicated website and booking centre for their 2025 inaugural year of sailing.

PONANT has launched its 2025 Kimberley season with 18 departures available to book between May and September 2025. Le Jacques-Cartier returns to the region in 2025 for the second year after her inaugural season in the Kimberley this year, alongside sistership Le Soléal sailing the 10-night Australia’s Iconic Kimberley itineraries between Broome and Darwin.

Sarina Bratton, Senior Strategic Advisor and Honorary Chairwoman for PONANT was this week zealous about the introduction of Paspaley Pearl by PONANT 30-guest vessel that Paspaley acquired earlier in the year. Hosting a media event in Sydney, Bratton said the boutique size of the ship will open up around five times as many destinations in the Kimberley compared to the 10 or so locations accessed by the expedition line’s bigger, 200-guest ships.

PONANT is expanding its partnership with luxury pearling company Paspaley, which is set to introduce an expedition motor yacht in the Kimberley in 2024. Based out of Broome and operating year-round from next June, M/Y Paspaley Pearl by PONANT will cater to 30 guests and signals a new era of luxury explorations in the region.
