Scenic Eclipse has wowed guests on her inaugural voyage to Antarctica this week with a rare sighting of emperor penguins in the Weddell Sea.

Among the suite of activities available to guests on Scenic Eclipse are submarine dives in a seven-person (pilot plus six-passenger) U-Boat Worx Cruise Submarine 7. Senior Submarine Operations Officer Remy Izendooren is behind the controls of the Scenic Neptune, which is deployed throughout Scenic Eclipse’s itineraries.

LATTE was recently a guest aboard Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours’ Discovery Yacht, Scenic Eclipse, where we sailed the Caribbean Sea visiting ports in Jamaica, Guatemala, Honduras, Belize and Mexico. We took the opportunity to speak with a number of crew and personnel while on board to learn more about their cruise industry background, their reason for joining Scenic Eclipse in its inaugural season, and some of their favourite ports and parts of the World’s First Discovery Yacht.

Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours has revealed the first photos of Scenic Eclipse’s submarine, Scenic Neptune, as it dives below the clear aquamarine Caribbean waters, during its inaugural season captained by pilot Remy Izendooren.

Hard to get to locations in Jamaica, Honduras and Belize were accessed with ease for a group of travel advisors and executives, all first-time visitors to the Caribbean on the recent Scenic Eclipse VIP famil through the region. And while new destinations were ticked off the list of locations to explore, it was the ultra-luxury yacht itself and the facilities onboard that were the focus of this famil.
