Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours has just confirmed the first sailing date for Scenic Eclipse has been pushed back until 15 August, 2019, nearly 12 months after its originally flagged launch date.

Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours has confirmed the first sailing date for Scenic Eclipse, the World’s First Discovery Yacht, has been amended to 13 April 2019.

Scenic Group Chairman Glen Moroney has today released a video detailing the stage of construction the company’s first ocean-going ship, Scenic Eclipse, has passed.

Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours has released three new Scenic Eclipse destination brochures, showcasing the ocean explorations in Europe and The Americas, Antarctica and the Arctic Fjords and Baltic regions, along with land-cruise combinations.

The Scenic Eclipse fleet has been designed with a rating of Ice Class 1A Super (Polar Class 6), the highest of any luxury vessel, coupled with state-of-the-art technology, GPS dynamic position, forward bow thrusters and an electronic Azipod propulsion system, allowing for safe navigation through all waters and sensitive marine environments.

Scenic has unveiled fresh details of its submersible vessel which will be available for guests on the Australian company’s Discovery Yacht, Scenic Eclipse.

Scenic has this week debuted its state-of-the-art Airbus H130 helicopters aboard Scenic Eclipse, the Australian company’s first ocean-going vessel that’s on track for delivery in January 2019.

Scenic is confident ongoing industrial action by builders at the Croatian shipyard where the company’s first ocean-going vessel, Scenic Eclipse, is being constructed, will have no impact on the already rescheduled timeline for delivery.

Scenic Eclipse was scheduled to commence operation on 31 August 2018, but management have confirmed a new launch date of “late January 2019”.
