Seabourn has completed the near-fleetwide installation of next-gen Wi-Fi connectivity with SpaceX’s Starlink, the leader in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite technology. The upgraded technology provides Seabourn’s guests with faster service, greater connectivity and more reliable Wi-Fi wherever Starlink’s services are available.

Seabourn has unveiled the next chapter in its award-winning culinary experiences with the debut of Solis, a new fine dining venue, that celebrates Mediterranean cuisine inspired by the places visited by the line’s ultra-luxury ships.

Seabourn has released its 2025 season to Alaska during peak season and Canada and New England. Seabourn Quest and Seabourn Sojourn will take guests on 24 sailings to hidden harbours, marquee ports, and stunning natural wonders between May and November 2025.

Seabourn has introduced a number of dining enhancements, including new recipes in The Restaurant and expanded sushi offerings aboard its ultra-luxury ships.

The fleet of luxury cruise line Seabourn will soon swell to seven, with a second purpose-built expedition ship, Seabourn Pursuit, now on track to enter service two months earlier than scheduled. Seabourn has bulked up capacity in the Mediterranean with the return to service of Seabourn Quest last week.

Seabourn has indicated full confidence in the rebound of Canada and Alaska’s cruise industry, unveiling plans to resume sailing in North America for the first time in two years. The ultra-luxury cruise line is intending to sail the coastline of British Columbia and New England’s waterways starting this northern summer and autumn.

Housekeeping tends to be one of those topics often shied away from by hospitality companies and cruise lines. It’s the not-so-glamourous, yet essential tasks carried out every day, normally behind the scenes. Housekeeping may be viewed as mundane and not overly interesting, let alone “exciting”. Then housekeeping – especially since Seabourn restarted operation back in July – offers an increased level of guest interaction.

Seabourn has updated the restart timeline for Seabourn Quest, pushing out the planned resumption date from November 2021 to 10 May 2022 in the Mediterranean.

Seabourn has unveiled further 2023 deployment plans for its North American operation, spanning Alaska, the Pacific Coast and Canada/New England.

Seabourn has opened bookings for its 2023 140-day World Cruise on Seabourn Sojourn and 79-day Grand Voyage aboard Seabourn Quest. “Given these uncertain times, our guests have asked Seabourn to offer travel options further into the future. With the 2023 World Cruise and Grand Voyage, we open options well into 2023 for future planning,” said Josh Leibowitz, President of Seabourn.
