Seabourn has scrapped additional voyages for three cruise ships in its fleet as a part of its pause in global ship operations. An operational pause for Seabourn Ovation, Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Quest has been extended through to 3 January, 6 January and 10 May 2021, respectively.

Seabourn’s upcoming ultra-luxury expedition ships will feature a forward-facing viewing lounge on Deck 9, providing 270-degree views.

The latest space to be unveiled by Seabourn for its first ultra-luxury purpose-built expedition ship, Seabourn Venture, has been unveiled. The Bow Lounge is positioned on Deck 6, at the forwardmost part of the vessel, and will provide direct access to the outdoors.

Seabourn has released a rendering of another dining venue that will feature on its new ultra-luxury purpose-built expedition ship, Seabourn Venture. The Colonnade is a venue where guests will find a variety of meal options for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is part of the eight dining experiences that expedition travellers will enjoy on board the forthcoming expedition ship and its yet-to-be-named sister.

Seabourn continues to progress toward the launch of two new ultra-luxury purpose-built expedition ships, launching in June 2021 and May 2022, respectively. Travellers on Seabourn Venture and her yet-to-be-named sister ship will find a wealth of masterfully crafted onboard spaces, including Seabourn Square, already found on all five Seabourn ships.

Meadows tells us about the maiden season itineraries, expeditions team and on board submarines and informs us as to how sales have been tracking for the inaugural cruises on board Seabourn Venture in 2021.

Seabourn has unveiled a rendering of the first of eight dining options that will be available aboard its ultra-luxury expedition fleet. The Restaurant is the fine dining venue that will be offered aboard Seabourn Journey, debuting in June 2021, and its yet-to-be-named sister-ship that will launch from May 2022.

Seabourn has unveiled details of the submarines that will be offered aboard its expedition fleet from 2021. Seabourn Venture and her yet-to-be-named sister-ship will each carry a U-Boat Worx Cruise Sub 7 submersible, an underwater battery-powered craft that will take up to six guests to a depth of up to 300 metres below sea-level. They have been “designed specifically for Seabourn,” the cruise company said.

Seabourn has offered a sneak-peek at The Veranda, Panorama Veranda and Penthouse suite categories aboard its upcoming expedition ships, due to debut in June 2021 and May 2022. 

Seabourn officials held an event in Sydney last Friday where they revealed the first renderings of the Wintergarden, Signature and Owners Suites of the cruise line’s ultra-luxury expedition ships.

Seabourn has given travellers their first glimpse of select public spaces on its two new ultra-luxury purpose-built expedition ships set to launch in June 2021 and May 2022, respectively. The work of design icon Adam D. Tihany, the Expedition Lounge, Discovery Center, Landing Zone, and Atrium are masterfully designed spaces that will act as communal hubs on Seabourn Venture and another yet-to-be-named sister ship.
