Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Australasia is preparing a virtual welcome for more than a dozen new cruise ships about to join the world fleet this year, hosting its first-ever Ocean Debut Showcase for travel agent members.

Seabourn has confirmed plans to resume operations after its voluntary COVID-19 cruise pause from July 2021.

The hull of Seabourn’s first purpose-built expedition ship has arrived at the T. Mariotti shipyard in Genoa, Italy for the vessel’s final fit-out.

Seabourn has extended its “Book with Confidence” policy through to 31 May, 2021. The policy provides travellers with even more flexibility, assurance and options to cancel their booking up to 30 days prior to departure on any new bookings and receive a future cruise credit.

Seabourn has unveiled its new expedition itineraries in the northern summer and autumn 2022 for Seabourn Venture, the line’s first ultra-luxury purpose-built expedition ship. Between early May and late October 2022, Seabourn Venture will visit destinations throughout the Arctic, the Caribbean, and Central and South America – offering travellers unique opportunities to experience expedition travel and exhilarating adventure in a way that is unique to Seabourn.

Seabourn has extended its 2021 Signature Savings Event through until 31 March, 2021, providing more time to tap into the luxury line’s special offers and an array of value-added amenities on select 2021 and 2022 voyages.

Seabourn has responded to the Canadian Government’s ban on big ships cruising in its waters by cancelling its entire 2021 season of voyages to Alaska and British Columbia.

Seabourn has revealed details on some of the special events that will take place during the upcoming 145-day “2022 World Cruise: Extraordinary Horizons,” aboard Seabourn Sojourn.

Seabourn has opened bookings for its 2023 140-day World Cruise on Seabourn Sojourn and 79-day Grand Voyage aboard Seabourn Quest. “Given these uncertain times, our guests have asked Seabourn to offer travel options further into the future. With the 2023 World Cruise and Grand Voyage, we open options well into 2023 for future planning,” said Josh Leibowitz, President of Seabourn.

Cruise lines have been left scratching their head and scurrying to devise new itineraries after the Government of Canada kiboshed cruise ships carrying 100+ passengers in all Canadian waters until March 2022.

Seabourn has opened bookings for a vast number of 2022 northern summer and autumn voyages through Europe, Alaska, Canada, and New England.
