Details of Seabourn’s new spa and wellness experience to be offered aboard the ultra-luxury line’s new expedition ships have been revealed for the first time.

Seabourn has unveiled its program of adventures and immersive experiences in Alaska and British Columbia this upcoming Northern summer. Seabourn Odyssey is scheduled to sail on a series of newly-revised, seven-day voyages between Juneau, Alaska and Vancouver, British Columbia. The journey will see travellers explore the vast wilderness and awe-inspiring beauty of the “The Great Land” in a way that is different from the mainstream.

Seabourn President Josh Leibowitz says he is optimistic luxury cruising will lead the way in terms of recovery for the sector in the ‘new normal’.

Seabourn has reworked its itineraries for its upcoming 2021 Alaska and British Columbia season, to create 18 seven-day voyages operating between Vancouver and Juneau.

Seabourn has extended its “Book with Confidence” policy through until 31 January, 2021. The policy provides travellers with even more flexibility, assurance and options to cancel their booking up to 30 days prior to departure on any new bookings and receive a future cruise credit.

Seabourn has offered the first glimpses of The Club venue that will feature on Seabourn Venture when it launches in 2021 and its sister ship in 2022.

Seabourn, the ultra-luxury resort at sea, has opened for sale the revised inaugural expedition season itineraries for Seabourn Venture, the line’s first ultra-luxury purpose-built expedition ship. Between December 2021 and April 2022, Seabourn Venture will sail on a series of 10- to 14-day Norwegian Winter voyages, cruising the coastlines in Norway with ample opportunities for travellers to discover the country’s splendid winter landscape and its snow-draped scenery, to learn about each region’s fascinating Viking history and culture, and to search for the majestic Northern Lights.

Seabourn has reported robust booking volume for its 2022 World Cruise: Extraordinary Horizons program since opening for reservations. The cruise line says the demand demonstrates an “underlying desire by luxury travellers to book a long vacation experience during a time where travel opportunities have been limited”. Seabourn’s premiere itinerary is already half filled on segments through the halfway point in Shanghai, with only limited space remaining on the leg from Los Angeles on the full 145-day voyage or shorter segments.

Seabourn has officially commenced construction of its second ultra-luxury purpose-built expedition ship. The first sheets of steel for the yet-to-be-named vessel were cut in San Giorgio di Nogare in Italy last week.
