On 3 May 2018, Silversea’s Silver Spirit left the Fincantieri Shipyard in Palermo 49 feet longer, following the completion of a complex lengthening and refurbishment project.

A prebuilt 15-metre segment has been inserted and the ship is now being reconnected. With the aim of amplifying guests’ onboard experience, the rare lengthening project will create more space in public areas and will enhance Silver Spirit’s facilities.
