Silversea Cruises has unveiled a first in the ultra-luxury segment: a new fly-cruise service to Antarctica in Business-class comfort, as part of the largest ever Antarctica offering in the cruise line’s history.

Silversea Cruises has unveiled a new offer that will take travellers to Peru’s Machu Picchu in ultimate comfort. The four-night land experiences have been carefully curated by the cruise line’s destination experts to extend two Silver Moon voyages departing in 2020.

This week Silversea’s flagship vessel, Silver Muse departed Singapore for Sydney, returning to Australia and New Zealand for her longest season to date. Currently in Bali, Indonesia, Silver Muse will arrive in Sydney on 5 December 2019. The luxurious ship will stay in the Australia-Pacific region until the end of March, transporting guests in complete luxury on numerous sailings between Auckland and Sydney, including maiden calls in Hobart, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands.

Silversea collaborator and world-renowned photographer Steve McCurry was inducted into the prestigious International Photography Hall of Fame on 1 November, 2019. Presented at an awards ceremony in St. Louis, Missouri, the achievement commends a lifetime of creation for the legendary artist.

Silversea Cruises held its first Travel Agent Advisory Board meeting last week at the Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay. The meeting provided an opportunity for Silversea to share some key company insights, discuss new ideas and take on valuable feedback from select travel agent partners.

Silversea has released more details about their World Cruise 2020, including the Executive Officers that will host the Legends of Cruising 2020 and the 33 new shore experiences available exclusively to world-cruising guests. The Lengends of Cruising is the first world cruise to visit all seven continents and the 140-day voyage aboard Silver Whisper takes guests to 62 ports between leaving Fort Lauderdale and arriving in Amsterdam.

Silversea Cruises is celebrating its largest European season to date in 2020 with a new Business Class flight upgrade promotion priced from $3,998 per person. The offer is $1,000 cheaper than last year’s deal.

Silversea is offering guests an enhanced All-Inclusive Polar Package, now available on all luxury expedition voyages to the Arctic and Antarctica. The package provides a seamless travel experience for guests, unlocking deep travel into Polar Regions.

Silversea Cruises has marked its silver anniversary with a series of events around the country for past passengers, otherwise known as Venetian Society members, over the past few weeks. Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, Adam Armstrong, and Director of Marketing – Asia Pacific, Leanne Fonagy, have held morning and afternoon teas to thank customers directly for their loyalty and support.

Silversea has begun the 12-month countdown until the launch of its next ultra-luxury ship, Silver Moon. The 596-passenger ship will embark on her maiden cruise on 6 August 2020.
