Silversea has revealed further details of its late-2020/2021 Grand Voyages, including Silver Muse’s circumnavigation of Australia.

Starting on 16 July 2019, travellers will be able to reserve suites aboard Silversea’s new ship, Silver Origin, which has been designed entirely with the Galapagos Islands. The all-suite, 100-guest Silver Origin will embark on her maiden voyage in July 2020, unlocking the authentic beauty of the Galapagos by connecting guests with the destination through immersive experiences.

Silversea Cruises will embark on a unique 50-day circumnavigation of Australia aboard its current flagship ultra-luxury vessel, Silver Muse, in late 2020. Operating round-trip from Sydney the unique journey includes side trips to New Zealand and Indonesia, with maiden port calls at Mooloolaba in Queensland and Busselton in Western Australia.

Silversea Cruises has bolstered its expedition team ranks, appointing Bill Davis to the position of Vice President Expedition Operations and Development, effective 1 June, 2019.

Silversea Cruises will roll out a new culinary enrichment program in mid-2020, dubbed S.A.L.T. (an acronym of ‘Sea and Land Taste’). The program has been crafted with immersive culinary experiences in mind and designed in collaboration with Adam Sachs, a multi-award winning Journalist and former Editor-in-Chief at a leading culinary magazine. Silversea’s Sea and Land Taste project will enable guests to travel deeper through a range of culinary insights, once it is inaugurated with the launch of Silver Moon in August 2020.

Silversea Cruises has upgraded in-suite television programming across its fleet of intimate ships. In effect since January 1, 2019, the National Geographic and Sport 24 channels now enrich the impressive line-up of viewing options, which includes reputable international networks, such as BBC World News and Fox News, among others, plus the latest movies. As part of the enhancement, guests will now be able to watch live football and basketball fixtures, among other significant broadcasts.
