Five Rolls Royce vehicles lined the shores of White Bay Cruise terminal in Sydney Harbour on 5 December 2019 to welcome the return of Silversea’s ultra-luxurious flagship vessel Silver Muse to the region for a second, extended season. Symbolic of the five Silversea vessels which share the Rolls Royce name, the cars were also present in celebration of the upcoming 64th year of the Rolls-Royce Owners’ Club of Australia (RROCA) in 2020.

Silversea Cruises has unveiled a new offer that will take travellers to Peru’s Machu Picchu in ultimate comfort. The four-night land experiences have been carefully curated by the cruise line’s destination experts to extend two Silver Moon voyages departing in 2020.

This week Silversea’s flagship vessel, Silver Muse departed Singapore for Sydney, returning to Australia and New Zealand for her longest season to date. Currently in Bali, Indonesia, Silver Muse will arrive in Sydney on 5 December 2019. The luxurious ship will stay in the Australia-Pacific region until the end of March, transporting guests in complete luxury on numerous sailings between Auckland and Sydney, including maiden calls in Hobart, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands.

Guests booking any classic Alaskan itinerary departing in 2020 or 2021 with Silversea Cruises will receive complimentary roundtrip economy-class air, or reduced business-class airfares priced from AU$4,998 per person. Available until 3 January 2020, the offer applies to 28 itineraries between Seward and Vancouver on board the ultra-luxurious Silver Muse, and also includes a complimentary private scenic glass dome train transfer from Anchorage to Seward.

Silversea collaborator and world-renowned photographer Steve McCurry was inducted into the prestigious International Photography Hall of Fame on 1 November, 2019. Presented at an awards ceremony in St. Louis, Missouri, the achievement commends a lifetime of creation for the legendary artist.

Silversea Cruises held its first Travel Agent Advisory Board meeting last week at the Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay. The meeting provided an opportunity for Silversea to share some key company insights, discuss new ideas and take on valuable feedback from select travel agent partners.
