Soneva has unveiled two opulent new additions to its portfolio of villas and private hideaways at Soneva Fushi in the Baa Atoll in the Maldives. The six-bedroom Villa 43 Sunset Reserve and four-bedroom Villa 38 will set a new standard of desert island luxury.

Luxury resort operator Soneva has announced the building of the Soneva Fushi’s first overwater villas. Perched above the Indian Ocean, the eight new one- and two-bedroom Water Retreats are scheduled to open to guests by April 2020. Designed to exist in harmony with the Baa Atoll’s island setting, the new Water Retreats adhere to Soneva’s pioneering sustainability ethos, as well as its renowned ‘no news, no shoes’ philosophy of barefoot luxury.

Soneva, the world-leading luxury resort operator, has announced a unique partnership with the Michelin Guide for 20 dinner events which will be hosted at its resorts in the Maldives and Thailand.

The programs include return flight transfers, meals and shared accommodation in larger villas.

The two-storey overwater structure houses 5 brand-new dining experiences, from intimate settings of just 5 diners presided over by world-famous chefs to large al fresco shared dining areas.
