Luxury space travel company, Space Perspective, has revealed a refinement to its Space Neptune capsule design, currently in production in Florida.

Fifteen years after purchasing his ticket to space with Virgin Galactic, Matthew Upchurch, the CEO of Virtuoso, remains steadfastly committed to Richard Branson’s space tourism project.

The interior design of Space Perspective’s new spaceflight experience, a pressurised capsule that hangs suspended from a gigantic balloon, has been unveiled this week. The preview comes as the company reported selling more than 600 of its US$125,000 tickets to date, completely filling its entire first year of operation.

Reservations opened this week for a new luxury travel experience that will take small groups higher than ever before – up to 30 kilometres (around 10,000-feet) into the earth’s atmosphere.
