Soft adventure travel expert, Jerry Pilgrim, has been recruited by Tauck as its new National Account Manager for Queensland and Victoria.

Tauck has significantly bolstered its small group offering around the world, beefing up its number of special land tour departures in 2023 by over 35% compared to pre-pandemic levels.

Last December, luxury touring and cruise operator Tauck hosted four Australian travel advisors on its most recent Tauck Academy through Jordan. The frontline sellers explored Amman, Jerash, Mt Nebo, Madaba, Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea, alongside dozens of their counterpart travel advisors from the USA, Canada, and the UK.

Tauck believes it is well-positioned to further build upon its success in the Australian market, with near-record pre-season bookings, and strong interest from past guests and new-to-Tauck travellers, following a dramatic rebound from COVID.

Tauck has renewed a major focus on Australia by inviting travel agency partners to three exclusive events: two breakfast events in Sydney and Melbourne on 20 and 22 July, respectively; and a cocktail reception in Brisbane on 20 July.
