Fiji Airways has commenced a new year-round service between Nadi and Cairns, making Tropical North Queensland more accessible to travellers from the United States. At just over four hours, the new Nadi-Cairns route is the first non-stop service between the destinations.

The Australian competition watchdog today announced it has granted authorisation to Virgin Australia and Qatar Airways to allow them to engage in cooperative conduct under an integrated alliance for five years. Air France has unveiled details of its new La Premiére cabin which will begin rolling out on select Boeing 777-300ER aircraft this year.
